Lowe's Home Centers, LLC is seeking a customer service oriented associate to support customers throughout the shopping journey. You will help customers locate items, demonstrate products, load merchandise, and process sales at the register.

The role requires basic computer and retail technology use, along with strong communication skills. You will work on the sales floor and at the register, contributing to a positive store experience and smooth checkout operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience; education requirement may be waived for applicable experience.
• <1 year experience with computers (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
• <1 year experience using common retail technology
• 1 year retail experience as a cashier
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law

Responsabilités

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies and programs.
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Responds promptly to questions, guides customers through projects in-store when needed.
• Communicates stock, special order merchandise, and warranty information to customers.
• Coaches and trains associates in department duties and sales opportunities.
• Uses a cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds according to guidelines.
• Ensures accurate cash handling and change given to associates.
• Removes security tags, bags merchandise, and assists in checkout flow to improve efficiency.
• Prepares register area at shift start/end and ensures scanners and supplies are stocked
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages
• Processes orders and loading tickets; verifies receipts
• Looks up product information and compares prices for price match
• Records store use items and completes daily reconciliation duties
• Monitors cash drawers and cash recyclers to stay within limits
• Observes store entrances/exits and assists customers or associates to prevent theft
• Notifies management of shoplifting or security risks
• Maintains store cleanliness and safety standards
• Operates store equipment as needed; performs other duties as assigned
