Job summary

Volunteers of America is seeking a Lead Case Manager in California to arrange, coordinate, and monitor services for program clients. The role blends administrative duties with field outreach to ensure housing stability plans are implemented and client needs are addressed.

The Lead Case Manager will supervise a team, review referrals, conduct assessments, and coordinate support services with veterans and families.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.
• Ability to handle emotional stress and challenging clients.
• Experience in case management and supervision preferred.
• On-site work with field outreach.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Case Managers and review action plans.
• Coordinate intake, assessments, and service delivery.
• Develop housing stability plans and coordinate move-in activities.
• Conduct outreach events and maintain client records.
• Monitor workload and ensure timely completion.
