Job summary

VOALA seeks a Lead Case Manager to organize and monitor a case management team delivering housing and supportive services in the Los Angeles area. The role blends on-site office duties with field outreach to assess client needs and activate housing stability plans.

You will mentor staff, coordinate referrals, conduct comprehensive assessments, and ensure documentation meets program requirements while maintaining accountability for timely case completions.

Qualifications

• Must pass fingerprint clearance and background checks.
• Ability to work under emotional stress and manage challenging clients including homelessness and mental illness.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a case manager; proven leadership ability.
• Completion of VOALA Case Management training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Case Managers on active caseload, review plans of action, set goals and secure resources.
• Oversee intake, assessments, service planning and delivery of case management services.
• Coordinate with external providers to link participants to community resources and supportive services.
• Conduct weekly case conferencing and quarterly file audits to ensure records are complete.
