Job summary

Curaleaf is seeking a Lead Store Associate in Port Charlotte, FL to lead a store team, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and uphold brand standards in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment. You will manage opening/closing, cash handling, POS duties, inventory, and training, while driving KPI goals and promoting a welcoming, compliant store culture.

Requirements: 21+, HS diploma or GED, 1 year customer-facing experience, 6 months leadership; availability evenings, weekends, holidays;

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or sales environment.
• 6 months of leadership experience in a retail environment.
• 6 months of hands-on retail operations including opening/closing and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a welcoming environment and coach your team.
• Deliver exceptional service with personalized product guidance.
• Drive consultative selling and loyalty program enrollment.
• Ensure accurate POS transactions and cash handling.
• Maintain inventory integrity and conduct daily counts.
• Open and close store operations, including cash reconciliation.
• Provide real-time coaching and feedback to drive performance.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive store culture and teamwork.
