Job summary

Curaleaf is seeking a Lead Store Associate for its West Palm Beach location to drive exceptional customer experiences and lead a high-performing retail team. You will act as a brand ambassador, coach staff, manage daily operations, and ensure compliance with SOPs while delivering sales growth.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year in a customer-facing or sales environment
• 1 year using POS systems and cash handling
• 6 months leadership in retail
• 6 months store operations experience (opening/closing, cash reconciliation)
• Minimum 6 months as Curaleaf Store Associate with consistent performance
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Familiarity with SOPs, safety, and loss prevention
• Attention to detail in cash handling and inventory
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a high-volume, compliance-driven setting
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays
• Multi-tasking and ability to adapt quickly
• Comfort with technology and new tools
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• De-escalation skills to resolve upset customers
• Ability to work across all store stations as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a welcoming environment for guests and coach the team to deliver exceptional service.
• Empower associates to build customer relationships through product recommendations and guidance.
• Drive consultative selling and educate guests on products.
• Encourage enrollment in the rewards program and capture customer insights.
• Resolve customer concerns with empathy and professionalism, turning challenges into trust-building opportunities.
• Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative workplace and smooth checkout operations.
• Perform opening/closing duties, daily huddles, and cash reconciliation.
• Verify IDs and maintain POS profiles; ensure inventory integrity and accurate order fulfillment.
• Lead inventory counts and participate in overnight audits; maintain a guest-ready store.
