Cushman & Wakefield in Nashville, TN, is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to oversee daily operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the assigned facility.

The role may operate without a Chief Engineer on-site and may supervise maintenance staff; candidates should have 5+ years' trade experience, relevant licenses, and hands-on expertise in HVAC, boilers, pumps, and energy management.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Graduate of apprentice program or trade school preferred.
• 5+ years of related trade experience in operating mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.
• Appropriate license/permit for trade as may be required (Journeyman or Master Electrician, etc.).
• EPA Section 608 Universal certification for refrigerants.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Experience with HVAC, boilers, pumps, refrigerant systems, etc.
• Knowledge of energy management systems and building operations.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with or conduct the daily operations and maintenance of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and general maintenance requirements for the buildings.
• Supervise maintenance staff when applicable and assign, and monitor maintenance activities and projects.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties, including changing filters and inspecting equipment.
• Develop and maintain building-specific maintenance procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance efforts with outside contractors and technicians.
• Maintain stock and inventory control.
• Respond to emergency situations and customer concerns.
• Comply with codes, regulations and company directives; practice safe work habits.
• Compile and submit monthly reports to inform management.
• Complete required safety training and adhere to uniform dress code.
