Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks an Assistant Chief Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance and repair of building systems at on-site facilities in Nashville, TN and surrounding area. You will lead a team, ensure safety compliance and drive efficiency in daily facility operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent with technical training or related degree.
• EPA/CFC certification required.
• Minimum of four years of experience in commercial building engineering (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems).
• Valid Tennessee Driver’s License.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, CMMS platforms and maintenance software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other building systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and system malfunctions to maintain uninterrupted facility operations.
• Utilize CMMS to manage work orders, maintenance schedules and service documentation.
• Lead, mentor and support engineering team members and promote safety.
• Monitor BAS, respond to alarms, coordinate corrective actions and ensure OSHA compliance.
