Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Lead Mobile Engineer to ensure efficient operations and maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for the assigned facility in Houston. This role may be the sole engineer on-site and may supervise maintenance staff depending on building size.

Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, coordinating with outside contractors, maintaining inventory, and reporting to the management team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; apprentice program or trade school preferred.
• 5+ years of related trade experience operating mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.
• Appropriate licenses or permits as required (Journeyman/Master Electrician, City Licenses, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist with or conduct daily operations and maintenance of MEP systems and general maintenance for the buildings.
• Supervise maintenance staff when applicable and monitor activities and projects.
• Perform preventive maintenance: change filters, lubricate motors, replace lamps/ballasts/fixtures, inspect belts and bearings, align shafts, etc.
