Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Mobile Building Engineer to support multiple Houston facilities, performing routine operation, inspection, and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and energy systems. You’ll help ensure safe, energy-efficient operation and manage records of past maintenance experiences.

Qualifications include 4+ years in building engineering, HVAC/electrical/plumbing expertise, EPA Section 608, and a valid driver’s license. Travel between sites up to 4–5 hours daily is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years of technical building engineering experience.
• EPA Universal (Section 608) certification for CFC/HFC refrigerants.
• Valid state driver’s license and applicable trade licenses.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and building systems.
• Major HVAC and plumbing repairs (compressors, coils, piping, fixtures, etc.).
• Electrical work (conduit, cables, panels, motors).
• Maintain and repair boilers, pumps, air compressors, water systems, sewer systems.
• Operate and maintain building automation systems.
• Inspect facilities and report conditions.
• Maintain inventory, follow safety protocols, and comply with codes/regulations.
• Participate in emergencies and occasional light travel during events.
• Complete required safety training and maintain licenses.
