Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Austin, TX is seeking a Mobile Engineer to maintain and operate building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting. The role requires a valid driver’s license and hands-on maintenance experience.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, energy management, repairs to HVAC and related systems, safety compliance, and facilitating quick resolution of equipment issues on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an apprentice program or trade school preferred.
• 5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, DX units, pumps, cooling towers, and air distribution systems.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment, thermostats and control panels.
• Verify field conditions and perform repairs or adjustments.
• Inspect engine room and electrical rooms; replace lamps and signage as needed.
• Document and report activities to supervisor and respond to emergencies.
