Job summary

Divcon is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design, documentation, and implementation of complex building automation systems for facilities nationwide. You will act as a technical authority and mentor, bridging electrical design, control logic development, and project leadership to meet customer expectations and energy goals.

You will design BAS for HVAC, lighting, and metering, enforce industry standards, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure schedules and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in building automation, MEP design, or industrial controls.
• Produce and review AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical drawings and submittals.
• Familiarity with control systems protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, UL, ASHRAE standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design of HVAC and BAS control systems, including schematics and wiring details.
• Translate plans into full automation designs with SOO integration.
• Review BOMs, submittals, and control device specs for procurement.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, UL standards.
• QA/QC reviews of drawings and as‑builts to ensure quality.
• Support commissioning and startup with software and installation teams.
