Job summary

Divcon Controls in Houston, TX is seeking a Construction Senior Project Manager to lead complex BAS construction projects across multiple sites, guiding planning, coordination, and delivery from start to finish.

You will mentor teams, manage budgets and schedules, review engineering submittals and BoMs, ensure safety compliance, and partner with clients and executives to achieve on-time, within-budget results.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction project or program management, ideally in BAS or MEP environments.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing high-value, multi-phase projects.
• Deep knowledge of building automation, HVAC controls, and electrical/commissioning systems.
• Strong business acumen with experience in financial oversight, reporting, and resource planning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—from technicians to C-suite.
• Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project) and financial tools.
• OSHA 30 certification obtained within the past two years is required; training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution across BAS construction projects, aligning with client requirements and corporate goals.
• Direct and mentor project teams, including field staff, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Own project portfolio performance—scope, budget, schedule, and quality—and deliver monthly reporting to executives.
• Oversee all contract documentation, change orders, procurement, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate closely with clients to build trust, manage expectations, and act as primary escalation point.
• Evaluate and approve engineering designs, submittals, and BoMs for compliance and efficiency.
• Mitigate risk through proactive planning, forecasting, and issue resolution.
• Standardize best practices across projects to drive efficiency and quality.
