Job summary

Divcon, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, is hiring a Senior Project Manager to lead busy building automation projects across multiple sites, from planning through delivery. You will align stakeholders, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and drive engineering and field teams to high-quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in construction project or program management, deep BAS/HVAC knowledge, strong financial oversight, and excellent communication with technicians to C-suite.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction project or program management, ideally in BAS or MEP environments.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing high-value, multi-phase projects.
• Deep knowledge of building automation, HVAC controls, and electrical/commissioning systems.
• Strong business acumen with experience in financial oversight, reporting, and resource planning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — from technicians to C-suite.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and financial tools.
• OSHA 30 certification obtained within the past two (2) years is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution across multiple BAS construction projects.
• Direct and mentor project teams, including field staff, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Own project portfolio performance — scope, budget, schedule, and quality — and deliver monthly financial and milestone reporting to senior executives.
• Oversee all contract documentation, change order management, procurement, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate closely with clients to build trust, manage expectations, and serve as primary point of escalation.
• Evaluate and approve engineering designs, technical submittals, and BoMs for compliance and efficiency.
• Mitigate risk through proactive planning, forecasting, and issue resolution.
• Standardize best practices across projects to drive efficiency and quality in delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Divcon's internal systems (e.g., DivPro), safety standards, and project documentation protocols.
