Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Supervisor, Biomedical Equipment Technician to lead a team of technicians across multiple locations. You will plan maintenance, assign work orders, and oversee advanced troubleshooting and repair of complex medical devices.

The role emphasizes coaching, safety, and compliance with established procedures. You will collaborate with CE Operations to allocate resources, ensure timely service, and support equipment upgrades while maintaining high-quality clinical engineering

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in biomedical/electronics tech or equivalent.
• Licensure: Valid driver’s license.
• Certification: CBET – preferred.
• Experience: Typically 5 years in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and design of biomedical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of Biomedical Equipment Technicians.
• Plan and allocate team resources; coordinate vendor resources as needed.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair non-imaging diagnostic/therapeutic medical devices.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, codes, regulatory requirements, and policies.
• Lead safety and customer-service rounding and drive service quality.
• Mentor technicians and interns; guide training and development.
• Support refurbishment, relocation, and equipment-modification projects.
• Identify equipment replacement needs and interact with manufacturers.
