Job summary

Neumo, based in Centreville, VA, is seeking a high-performing SaaS Accounts Receivable Collections Lead to oversee the aging portfolio, optimize cash flow, and tailor collection strategies for a recurring revenue model.

You will balance maintaining strong customer relationships with minimizing churn and reducing DSO for enterprise and mid-market accounts, while leading cross-functional efforts with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Legal to resolve collection barriers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate B2B collections experience.
• At least 2+ years in SaaS or subscription software collections.
• Familiar with mid-market and enterprise procurement systems (Coupa, Ariba).
• Proficient with ERPs and billing systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute SOPs for the collections lifecycle.
• Serve as escalation point for complex past-due accounts; negotiate payment plans.
• Monitor and report DSO, aging migrations, and bad debt reserves to finance leadership.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Customer Success, and Legal to resolve barriers.

SaaS Accounts Receivable Collections Lead

Position Overview

We are seeking a high-performing SaaS Accounts Receivable Collections Lead to oversee our aging portfolio, optimize cash flow, and lead collection strategies tailored to a recurring revenue model. This role balances maintaining strong customer relationships with minimizing churn and reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) for enterprise and mid-market accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy Execution: Design and execute standard operating procedures for the collections lifecycle, optimizing automated dunning sequences alongside high-touch personal outreach.
• Escalation Management: Serve as the primary escalation point for complex, high-value past-due enterprise accounts, negotiating structured payment plans when necessary.
• Metrics & Reporting: Monitor and report weekly/monthly updates on collection metrics, including DSO, Aging Bucket migrations, and bad debt reserves to finance leadership.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Legal teams to resolve collection barriers without jeopardizing account expansion opportunities.
