Job summary

Specialized Bicycle Components seeks a Lead Service Technician to balance people skills with broad technical expertise in a retail setting. You will act as the front line for riders, delivering expert service, and driving profitable in-store experiences while guiding teammates and maintaining brand standards.

You will work with customers and riders, including local and remote, to identify needs from a service menu or tune-ups, with emphasis on quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Broad technical proficiency across current bike technologies (hydraulic brakes, suspension, eBike diagnostics)
• Excellent communication to engage riders and team members
• Willingness to work weekends and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Assist with service intake and scheduling of repairs
• Provide expert technical guidance to riders and staff
• Contribute to in-store brand experiences and rider satisfaction
• Support bike sales with technical consulting and floor duties
• Maintain cleanliness and POS/WMS usage
