Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations during assigned shifts, coaching teammates and ensuring exceptional guest service while upholding our standards for quality, cleanliness, and teamwork.

You will open and close the bakery, handle cash and daily reporting, and support decorations and production as needed, all while fostering a positive, results-driven, team-oriented culture. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth shift execution.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to team members.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed.
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate operational needs to management.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that reflects the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand.
