Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is hiring a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations on assigned shifts and support teammates across all areas of the bakery. You will help ensure guests receive outstanding service while maintaining high standards for quality, cleanliness, and teamwork.

As a Shift Manager, you will open and close procedures, oversee cash handling and daily reporting, and coach staff to maintain a warm, welcoming guest experience in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Dependable, detail-oriented and results-driven.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth shift execution.
• Provide coaching, training, and support to team members.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed.
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate operational needs to management.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that reflects the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand.
