Job summary

TSMG Holding is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Lead to oversee daily operations of autonomous vehicle and robotaxi fleets supporting testing, commercial ride-hailing, and city launches across North America.

As the operations lead at the depot, you will coordinate Safety Operators, Depot Specialists, Senior Technicians, and SDS Specialists to keep vehicles safe, ready, and deployment-ready while driving fleet availability and KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet operations, automotive operations, transportation, logistics, mobility services, or similar operational environments.
• Previous experience leading operational or technical teams.
• Experience managing shift-based or 24/7 operations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
• Experience monitoring KPIs and operational performance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of autonomous vehicle and robotaxi fleets across depot locations.
• Ensure vehicles are operationally ready to support testing, deployment, and ride-hailing services.
• Monitor fleet utilization, availability, charging schedules, and readiness.
• Coordinate daily vehicle dispatch and return activities to maximize efficiency.
• Minimize downtime through effective operational planning and coordination.
• Oversee all depot activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and organization.
• Coordinate work of Safety Operators, Depot Specialists, Senior Technicians, and SDS Specialists.
• Ensure vehicles meet cleanliness, charging, inspection, and maintenance standards.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise staff; create 24/7 shift schedules.
• Conduct performance reviews and coaching; promote safety and continuous improvement.
• Act as primary operational contact for stakeholders; coordinate with engineering, product, and fleet teams.
• Prepare operational reports, KPI dashboards, and performance summaries.
• Escalate risks and develop mitigation plans; support customer visits and audits.
• Monitor KPIs like fleet availability, uptime, dispatch efficiency, and depot productivity.
• Identify process improvements; develop SOPs for autonomous operations.
• Support continuous improvement during fleet scaling and deployments.
• Ensure compliance with policies, local regulations, and safety standards.
