Job summary

Pep Boys in Orlando, FL is seeking a Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, deliver expert service, and mentor a growing team to improve customer care and satisfaction.

You will explain diagnoses to customers, support senior technicians, and maintain an organized shop while adhering to safety rules. Requires high school diploma, 3+ years’ automotive experience, ASE certifications preferred, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of automotive diagnostic, problem-solving and repair experience.
• 4+ ASE certifications preferred (A4, A5, plus 2 from A1, A6, A7, A8, L1).
• Section 609 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to customers.
• Mentor and assist fellow technicians to improve shop performance.
• Maintain organized, safe shop and adhere to company policies.
