Job summary

The role requires strong diagnosis and repair experience, ASE certifications, and the ability to explain technical issues to customers. You will work with a team in a fast-paced shop environment, supporting daily operations and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years of strong automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving and repair experience.
• 4+ ASE certifications preferred (A4/A5 plus 2 from A1, A6, A7, A8, L1).
• Section 609 certification required.
• State Inspection license if applicable.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Background check required before employment.
• Availability to work days, nights, holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers as needed.
• Mentor and lead technicians to improve customer care and shop performance.
• Continuously learn new automotive techniques through formal training sessions.
• Maintain an organized and safe shop adhering to policies.
