Hidden Jobs is seeking a senior-level Automation QA engineer to drive the QA strategy for a multi-product education platform. The role combines hands-on automation with leadership, mentoring junior and mid-level QA engineers while standardising testing across the FLE project.

You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, build automated tests with Playwright and TypeScript, perform API testing with SQL, and lead root-cause analysis for defect trends.

Qualifications

• Senior Automation QA Engineer or AQA Lead with hands-on automation experience.
• Strong Playwright and TypeScript experience.
• API testing with SQL and experience across multiple automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality strategy across multiple products.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated tests.
• Build and maintain automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Standardise QA practices across projects.
• Perform API testing and validate test data with SQL.
• Design and execute regression testing ahead of releases.
• Lead root cause analysis for defect trends and volumes.
• Provide technical leadership and support to junior and mid-level QA engineers.
• Design and implement AI-driven QA solutions to improve workflows.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA estimates.
• Communicate testing progress and risks to stakeholders.
