Job summary

ADP is seeking a Lead Automation QA Engineer in the United States to design and implement automated testing across HCM and benefits platforms. You will work with agile teams, building end-to-end, API, and accessibility tests using Cypress, Playwright, and MABL, while integrating Gen AI to accelerate test creation and coverage.

You will mentor junior QA engineers, own test automation strategy, and collaborate with developers and product owners to improve user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern JS frameworks.
• Extensive experience with Cypress, Playwright, MABL and other JS automation tools.
• Proficiency in TDD/BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Jest).
• Experience with SQL and manual DB testing.
• Experience with Gen AI tools for testing workflows.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of API testing tools and performance testing concepts.
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility testing and automated checks.
• Experience with Jira, TestRail for test management and defect tracking.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test strategies for cloud-based HCM/benefits platforms.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end, integration, API, and accessibility tests.
• Lead and mentor QA team members in automation best practices.
• Drive quality standards across the team and influence product changes for better UX.
• Own test automation strategy for product features, plan tasks, identify gaps.
