Job summary

Hidden Jobs is seeking a senior Quality Engineer to design and scale test automation for modern web and backend systems. You will focus on TypeScript-based automation with Playwright, embedding tests into CI/CD pipelines, and applying AI-assisted tools across the SDLC.

You will build, architect, and mentor on automated test frameworks, driving quality and efficiency in delivery while working in a remote EU setup with eligibility to work in an EU country.

Qualifications

• At least five years of hands-on experience in software test automation.
• Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript, plus working knowledge of SQL.
• Demonstrated Playwright experience for end-to-end browser testing.
• Background in backend test automation and contract testing approaches.
• Practical experience with CI/CD best practices and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated test suites for web applications and backend services using TypeScript and Playwright.
• Architect test automation frameworks and review existing frameworks for structural quality.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and manage execution infrastructure within Azure DevOps.
• Plan, design, and document test scenarios and cases aligned with each stage of the SDLC.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and share knowledge across the team.
• Use AI-powered assistants to improve productivity, decision-making, and test quality.
