Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Senior Automation Engineer to maximize equipment reliability in fulfillment centers, providing proactive controls automation and technical support. You will mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional teams to optimize MHE systems, including conveyors, sortation, scanners, and SCADA devices.

You will troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers, monitor MHE metrics, and collaborate with Operations, FC Start-up, and Safety to drive continuous improvement and on-time order

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of PLC/automation experience.
4+ years of PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis.
4+ years in robotics work cells and control systems.
Experience with Siemens/Allen-Bradley/Codesys ladder logic.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and optimize complex control systems and plant assets.
Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional projects.
Analyze performance metrics and drive improvements in MHE systems.
Support automation engineers to identify root causes and actions.
Operate and troubleshoot PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks.
