Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to maximize equipment reliability and operational performance in fulfillment centers. You will lead cross-functional teams, troubleshoot complex control systems, and mentor junior engineers while driving continuous improvement across MHE systems.

Key responsibilities include optimizing conveyors, sortation, scanners, and SCADA, with a focus on site throughput and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/Automation or 4+ years PLC/automation experience.
• 4+ years of PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis.
• 4+ years of robotics work cells and control systems experience.
• 4+ years of ladder logic programming (Siemens/Allen-Bradley/Codesys).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot control systems and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations and FC Start-up teams.
• Maintain and troubleshoot MHE control systems and networks.
• Monitor MHE metrics and analyze performance.
• Provide escalation support after hours.
