Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to maximize reliability and throughput in our fulfillment centers. You will troubleshoot complex control systems, analyze performance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring junior engineers and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Work with PLCs, SCADA, conveyors, sortation, scanners, and other MHE hardware across state-of-the-art facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or equivalent required.
• 4+ years in PLC programming or automation engineering.
• 4+ years in robotics work cells and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and optimize MHE control systems and PLCs.
• Collaborate with Operations, FC Start-up, and software teams to implement projects.
• Monitor MHE metrics and analyze performance to drive improvements.
• Provide escalation support to automation engineers during and after hours.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead cross-functional automation initiatives.
