Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Lenexa, KS seeks an Assembly/Test IV - Team Lead to drive complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, testing, and fabrication. You will ensure precision, safety, and on-time production in a demanding environment.

You will read blueprints, operate tools, manage inventory, perform quality checks, and lead a team across manufacturing operations, with potential international travel for training.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or vocational/technical education with 4+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, drawings, BOMs and other instructions.
• Operate hand tools and measuring equipment to perform assembly tasks.
• Maintain inventory at workstations and ensure materials are available.
• Perform quality checks and record defects for corrective action.
• Rework or repair assemblies to meet specifications.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Lift up to 25 lbs and work standing up to 10 hours per day.
• Be open to international travel for training.
