Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Assembly/Test IV - Team Lead to oversee mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, testing, and fabrication on-site. You will read blueprints, operate tools, manage inventory, and ensure quality and safety in standard and non-standard environments.

The role requires a HS diploma with 4+ years of experience, and offers diverse benefits. Some travel may be required for training. U.S. citizenship is required for access to program details.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions to ensure accurate assembly
• Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment to perform assembly tasks
• Maintain inventory of product in assigned workstations for ongoing operations
• Perform quality work checks and record defects for corrective action
• Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products to meet quality standards
• Adhere to quality standards and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Lift up to 25 lbs with or without accommodation
• Work in a standing position for up to 10 hours per day
• Be open to international travel for required training
