Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Manufacturing Electrical/Test Engineer for our Bellevue, Iowa facility. The role focuses on verification, sustainment of test processes, equipment, and procedures used in manufacturing Collins Aerospace products.

Responsibilities include improving test yields, performing root-cause analysis, reducing downtime, and supporting new designs for production readiness, with mentorship to technicians and collaboration with design engineering.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Must be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Participate in cross-functional team efforts to improve test yields and throughput.
• Identify test failure trends and perform root-cause analyses with corrective actions.
• Study performance of test equipment and reduce downtime.
• Provide capacity and utilization analysis for test equipment needs.
• Support producibility and testability initiatives for new designs.
• Develop and maintain test documentation and change management procedures.
• Mentor other engineers and train test technicians.
