Job summary

Aerotek in Plano, TX is seeking an Assembly Lead to guide a skilled manufacturing team in a fast-paced, on-site environment. You will oversee mechanical assembly processes, enforce safety and quality standards, and mentor team members to achieve production goals.

The role requires strong manual dexterity, leadership experience, and the ability to read drawings and work orders. You will collaborate with engineering, quality, planning, and warehouse teams while maintaining accurate production

Qualifications

• 5+ years in mechanical assembly or manufacturing.
• 2+ years in leadership roles.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor assembly team members.
• Plan daily production activities to meet schedules.
• Monitor productivity, quality and safety across the line.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, planning and warehouse teams.
• Maintain production records and report status to management.
