Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Lenexa, KS seeks a Quality Inspector III to ensure aerospace products meet AS9100 standards. You will perform conformity inspections, use precision measuring devices, and coordinate dispositions for non-conforming items to support on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or GED) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant inspection experience.
• AS9100 Quality Management System experience preferred.
• Detail oriented with strong communication and recordkeeping skills.
• Product inspection experience or technical background is preferred.
• SAP knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect arriving, in-process, and completed products for conformance to engineering requirements and quality specifications.
• Use measuring devices, testing equipment, computer systems, and statistical control processes to perform inspections.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections.
• Inspect parts, materials and processes on the floor and on-line.
• Raise notifications of non-conformance, quarantine non-conforming product and disposition as approved.
• Oversight and inspection of parts, materials and processes.
