Job summary

Celonis is seeking a Lead Applied Value Engineer for the High Tech vertical in New York, NY. You will partner with strategic customers to craft AI-driven value propositions—from supply chain resilience to margin expansion—leveraging the Celonis Process Intelligence platform.

Prototype solutions, lead technical discovery and demonstrations, and guide implementation to achieve measurable ROI across the full customer lifecycle, spanning pre- and post-sales activities with global accounts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading end-to-end technical pre-sales and post-sales engagements in the CPG, retail, or e-commerce space.
• Deep understanding of High Tech business processes with domain experience in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Trade Promotion, or Loss Prevention.
• Strong Python and ML libraries knowledge; data engineering for large-scale POS, transactional, and inventory data.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills for C-level executives, VPs, and senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree in CS, business analytics, engineering, mathematics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• AI Discovery & Solutioning: translate business requirements into ROI-driven solutions.
• Pre- and Post-Sales: manage full customer lifecycle with demonstrations and value realization.
• Hackathons & Prototyping: build rapid prototypes using AI tech during customer events.
• Agentic Process Transformation: enable autonomous AI agents with Process Intelligence.
• Proof Projects: deliver PV projects with secure, scalable LLM/agent systems and data integrations.
• Domain & Industry Leadership: act as the technical SME for High Tech sector.
• Smart Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations: optimize WMS, RFID, and micro-fulfillment workflows.
• Omnichannel & DTC Transformation: advise on order-to-cash, returns, pricing, loyalty.
• Sustainable Supply Chain & Eco-Fulfillment: focus on Scope 3 emissions and packaging workflows.
