Celonis in New York is seeking a Lead Applied Value Engineer to drive AI-powered value for flagship CPG and retail customers. You will collaborate with top clients to design scalable processes that optimize inventory, trade promotions, and margin improvements using the PI platform and partner AI tech.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading end-to-end technical pre-sales and post-sales engagements in the CPG, retail, or e-commerce space.
• Deep understanding of retail and CPG business processes across Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Trade Promotion, and Loss Prevention.
• Proficient in Python and common ML libraries; experienced with large-scale POS, transactional, and inventory data.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills for C-level executives and senior leaders; able to lead whiteboard sessions and live demos.
• Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred in computer science, business analytics, engineering, or related field.
• Experience building agentic AI systems and LLM orchestration is a plus; familiarity with OSS tools like LangChain is desirable.
• Experience deploying and monitoring AI models at scale on cloud platforms and enterprise data ecosystems.

• Proof Projects: deliver secure, scalable LLM/agent systems with RAG and guardrails.
• Domain & Industry Leadership: serve as SME for CPG and retail sectors.
• Smart Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations: optimize WMS, RFID, micro-fulfillment, routing.
• Omnichannel & DTC Transformation: advise on order-to-cash, returns, pricing, loyalty.
• Sustainable Supply Chain & Eco-Fulfillment: track Scope 3 emissions and optimize cold-chain workflows.
