Job summary

RTX's Effector RF Design Antenna & Radome team in Tucson, AZ is seeking a talented engineer to lead antenna and radome hardware design, validation, and measurement system development.

This onsite role requires guiding teams, providing technical oversight, and shaping technology roadmaps while collaborating with government programs to meet stringent DoD requirements. A background in RF simulations (HFSS, CST) and experience with DoD security is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading antenna or radome designs through concept trades, preliminary design, final design, and/or qualification.
• Experience with antenna/radome simulation tools (HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi, PMM, GRASP).
• Ability to obtain interim U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Development and detailed design of antenna or radome hardware and requirements.
• Work with interdisciplinary engineering teams including thermal, structural, mechanical, systems.
• Work with antenna or radome manufacturing suppliers.
• Analyze simulation and test data to verify performance to requirements.
