Job summary

Elite Line Services in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to manage daily operations for 3+ technicians across ground support equipment, facilities, and baggage handling areas. You will schedule work orders, coordinate with airport staff, and oversee preventive maintenance programs while ensuring safety, training compliance, and high-quality outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, experience reading schematics, and a proven track record in an airport

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years of experience in a related trade.
• Ability to read and understand basic electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Must have own set of hand tools common to the trade.
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of 3+ employees to meet maintenance schedules safely and efficiently.
• Perform or supervise daily system maintenance and repair as needed.
• Ensure compliance with training programs.
• Direct supervision of daily assignments; schedule mechanics/technicians in ground support equipment, facilities, and baggage handling areas.
• Review and monitor personnel assignments and issue/close work orders.
• Coordinate repairs/maintenance with airport and airline staff to minimize downtime.
• Lead daily preventive maintenance program.
• Assist with budgeting and site finances as required.
• Oversee parts inventory and stock control.
• Resolve technical issues and maintain turnover reports.
• Promote zero defects and continuous improvement across the team.
• Train, develop, and motivate maintenance staff toward company objectives.
• Conduct performance appraisals and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Uphold company regulations and safety policies; liaise with customer requirements.
• Maintain professional appearance and clear communications with staff and customers.
• Monitor the airport branch quality program and ensure standards compliance.
