Job summary

Elite Line Services (ELS) is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Phoenix to complete maintenance on baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges. You will mentor junior staff in the absence of senior technicians and ensure work is performed with safety as a priority.

Qualifications include a GED or high school diploma, 2+ years in mechanical/electrical work, and ability to read manuals and schematics. Preference given to those with airport experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• 2+ years mechanical or electrical experience.
• Ability to work non-traditional schedules including weekends/holidays.
• Preferred: airport environment, conveyors or boarding bridges experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes basic maintenance assignments including preventive, routine and emergency tasks on baggage handling equipment.
• Diagnoses equipment failures under guidance of senior personnel and ensures safety.
• Reads and interprets repair manuals, schematics and supervisor instructions.
• May act as lead in absence of Sr. Technicians or supervisors.
• Adheres to company safety policies and completes required trainings.
