Job summary

Elite Line Services (ELS) seeks an experienced maintenance technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges. You will mentor and assign tasks to junior staff and ensure safe, reliable operation.

The role requires reading manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings, plus the ability to work in confined spaces and at height with PPE. Prior airport experience and PLC-related skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical or electrical experience.
• Ability to work non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Preferred: airport environment experience and conveyors/boarding bridges.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and engineering drawings.
• Experience mentoring maintenance personnel.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic maintenance assignments including preventive, routine, and emergency tasks.
• Monitor operation, diagnose equipment failures and ensure safe operation.
• Lead and mentor other maintenance staff when senior personnel are absent.
• Read repair manuals and schematics; follow supervisor instructions.
• Work in tight spaces using PPE and fall protection.
• Complete safety training and forms for assignments.
