Job summary

Elite Line Services in Phoenix is seeking a Technician to perform preventive, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges. You will diagnose equipment issues, clear jams, and perform electrical and mechanical adjustments under guidance of senior technicians.

You will read repair manuals, work in tight spaces, follow safety procedures, and mentor junior staff as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years mechanical or electrical experience.
• Ability to work non-traditional schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Airport environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes basic maintenance assignments, preventive, routine and emergency maintenance, clears system jams and performs inspections.
• Diagnoses equipment failures under guidance of senior personnel and ensures safe operation.
• Reads and interprets repair manuals, schematics and supervisor/manager instructions.
• Provides direction and mentoring to junior staff; may lead in absence of Sr. Technicians.
