Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 3 years’ experience in a related trade.
• Ability to read and understand basic electrical/hydraulic schematics.
• Must have own set of hand tools common to the trade.
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of 3+ employees to meet maintenance schedules.
• Perform daily system maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Ensure adherence to training programs.
• Schedule and supervise mechanics/technicians in ground support equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate repairs and overhauls with airport and airline staff to minimize downtime.
• Oversee daily preventive maintenance program and safety compliance.
• Assist with budgeting and parts inventory as needed.
• Maintain turnover reports and promote zero-defect mindset.
