Job summary

Elite Line Services (ELS) is seeking a maintenance technician to complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on baggage handling systems and boarding bridges. The role includes mentoring junior staff, performing diagnostics, and ensuring safe, continuous operation in a busy airport environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years in mechanical or electrical work, with ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot PLC logic.

Qualifications

• 3+ years mechanical or electrical experience.
• Ability to work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance; clear system jams.
• Diagnose equipment failures and ensure safe operation.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to other maintenance personnel; may lead in absence of seniors.
• Read and interpret repair manuals, schematics, and supervisor instructions.
• Operate in tight spaces with PPE and fall protection equipment.
• Complete safety training and company procedures.
