Job summary

EY seeks an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design and implement memory architectures and data fabrics for enterprise AI. You will lead a team of AI Architects and drive multi-agent memory design patterns across AI-native systems.

This role focuses on advanced memory design, RAG and semantic search, and scalable AI solutions. The candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and will contribute to AI pre/post training, model synthesis, and integration across EY’s global teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Familiar with AI native software development tools/code assist (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understand AI Native design process and principles.
• Deep understanding of model fine tuning and customization through context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
• Experience with IDEs, CI/CD, code hosting and collaboration (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI-native designed systems.
• Design of context systems including RAG and Skills with semantic chunking and search.
• Implement and test these architectures benchmarking performance against agent and human-designed evals.
• Design replicable integration frameworks for memory architecture across multiple systems.
• Drive agent design requirements and implement through AI Native design process.
• Assess emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals through research.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure experts for balanced outcomes.
• Support strategic business development for emerging technology as needed.
• Present at academic conferences and support IP filings.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring Knowledge/Data team.
• Lead experts in building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
