Job summary

EY is hiring an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design and implement AI memory architectures and data fabrics for complex enterprise use cases. You will lead a team of AI Architects in building multi-agent memory systems, semantic chunking, and advanced context design, with focus on prefill/decoding inference and distributed inference.

The role blends hands-on coding with mentorship in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Familiarity with AI native software development tools / code assist.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI-native designed systems.
• Design of context systems including RAG and Skills with semantic chunking and search.
• Implement and test these architectures benchmarking performance against agent and human designed evals.
• Design replicable integration frameworks for use of memory architecture across multiple systems.
• Drive agent design requirements and implement through AI Native design process.
• Assess emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with architectural experts in AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure.
• Present at academic conferences and support IP filings.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring Knowledge/Data team.
• Lead a group of experts in building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
