Job summary

EY is hiring an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design and implement memory architectures and data fabrics for complex enterprise use cases. You will lead a team of AI Architects focused on multi-agent memory, context design, RAG and semantic chunking, plus scalable inference strategies.

The role requires 10+ years in software engineering and AI, with expertise in AI frontier models, memory architectures, and AI-native tooling.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with AI Frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Familiar with AI native tools/code assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Proficient with Python, Bash and languages like Go, Rust, Java.
• Understanding of AI native design processes and principles.
• Deep understanding of model fine-tuning and customization (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
• Experience with modern IDEs, CI/CD, and collaboration tools (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems across AI-native platforms.
• Develop context systems with RAG, semantic chunking and search.
• Benchmark architectures against AI/agent evaluations.
• Create replicable integration frameworks for memory architectures.
• Lead AI-native design processes across teams.
• Investigate emerging memory architectures and frontier models.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data, and Infra experts for practical outcomes.
• Support business development and research activities as needed.
• Present at academic conferences and assist IP development.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring for Knowledge/Data teams.
• Lead a group building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
