Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design memory architectures and data fabrics for enterprise use cases. You will lead a team of AI Architects and drive multi-agent memory solutions with RAG, semantic chunking, and advanced search.

The role requires deep knowledge of pre/post training, model synthesis, and scalable inference, with a hybrid work model and comprehensive Total Rewards. EY supports flexible vacation and collaboration across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Experience with AI native development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash) and languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understand AI Native design process and context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and collaboration tools (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and Microsoft Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI-native designs.
• Design context systems including RAG and semantic search capabilities.
• Implement and test architectures, benchmarking against AI-human evaluations.
• Build replicable integration frameworks for memory architectures across systems.
• Lead AI architecture requirements and drive implementation through design processes.
• Research emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data, and Infrastructure teams for practical outcomes.
• Support business development activities for emerging technology as needed.
• Present at academic conferences and assist IP filings.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring Knowledge/Data team members.
• Lead experts in building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
