Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design and implement advanced memory architectures and data fabrics for enterprise AI. You will lead a team of AI Architects focused on multi-agent systems, memory management, and context-driven search.

The role requires deep experience with AI frontier models, RAG strategies, and scalable inference optimization. Hybrid work model and involvement in IP development are expected.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Familiarity with AI native development tools/code assist (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Scripting languages (Python, Bash) and software languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understanding of AI native design processes and principles.
• Deep knowledge of model fine-tuning and customization (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and collaboration tools (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems across AI-native platforms.
• Create context systems including RAG, semantic chunking and search.
• Benchmark architectural performance against agent and human evaluations.
• Develop replicable integration frameworks for memory architectures.
• Drive agent design requirements through AI-native design processes.
• Research emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure teams for practical outcomes.
• Support strategic business development for emerging tech.
• Present at academic conferences and support IP filings.
• Mentor Knowledge/Data team members and lead the group.
