Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced Lead AI Software Architect to design memory architectures and data fabrics for complex, enterprise AI use cases. You will lead a team of AI Architects, shaping multi-agent memory systems and context design at scale.

The role demands deep expertise in RAG, context management, and model fine-tuning, with a strong emphasis on integration frameworks and performance benchmarking. Hybrid work available in the US.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of software engineering and AI experience.
• Experience with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
• Familiar with AI-native development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and languages (Go, Rust, Java).
• Understand AI Native design process and principles.
• Deep understanding of model fine-tuning and context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps, and modern collaboration tools.
• Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and MSFT Azure AI stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI-native systems.
• Design context systems including RAG and semantic chunking with search.
• Implement and test architectures, benchmarking with agent and human evaluations.
• Create replicable integration frameworks for memory architectures across systems.
• Drive agent design requirements and implement through AI-native design processes.
• Assess emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals.
• Collaborate with AI, Security, Data and Infrastructure experts to ensure balanced outcomes.
• Support strategic business development for emerging technology as needed.
• Present at academic conferences and support IP development.
• Hands-on coding and mentoring Knowledge/Data team members.
• Lead a group of experts building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
