Eaton’s Fuel & Motion Control Systems division, based in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Lead Sustaining Electrical Engineer to lead momentum product improvements and support manufacturing initiatives. The focus will be on reliability and quality for momentum products such as motor controllers, DC motors, and related hardware.

You will supervise engineering analysis, redesign efforts, test planning and requalification activities, and collaborate with operations, procurement and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in electrical engineering role.
• ITAR compliance required and sponsorship not provided.
• Candidate must reside within 50 miles of Grand Rapids, MI; relocation not offered.

Responsabilités

• Lead momentum product improvements through analysis, redesign and testing of electro-mechanical actuators.
• Sustain product viability by redesigning hardware with obsolete components.
• Develop test plans and coordinate requalification testing with labs.
• Support Launch for Runner NPD and Supplier Product Transfer initiatives.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Customer Service and HPWT to reduce costs through reliability.
• Assist customers with inquiries about momentum products.
