Eaton is seeking a Lead Sustaining Electrical Engineer for our Grand Rapids, MI office to drive momentum product improvements and support manufacturing. The role focuses on reliability and quality of momentum products, including motor controllers, DC motors, and actuators, reporting to the Engineering Manager, Electronic Products.

On-site work required with ITAR compliance. Must have a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and at least five years of related experience; relocation bonuses may

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in electrical engineering.
• ITAR compliance and U.S. person requirements.
• No sponsorship now or in the future.
• Relocation within 50 miles is not offered; 50+ miles candidates may get relocation bonus.

Responsabilidades

• Drive momentum product improvements through engineering analysis, redesign and testing of electromechanical actuators and system hardware.
• Sustain product viability by evaluating and redesigning hardware with obsolete components.
• Develop test plans, specs and procedures for requalification; coordinate testing and report results.
• Support Launch for New Product Development and Supplier Product Transfer initiatives.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain and HPWT to drive cost reductions and reliability improvements.
• Assist customer service with inquiries regarding momentum products.
• Interpret specifications and advise on component replacements; assess validation requirements.
