Job summary

K Group Companies is seeking a Field Service Technician Level II to service Blaine, Minnesota area customers. The role builds on Level I tasks, adding advanced skills, leadership, and hands-on configuration of devices and management platforms.

You will lead installation teams, perform FATs, and train customers at a basic operations level. The position requires experience with electrical work, networking basics, and fire/CCTV/nurse call systems, plus a valid US driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a construction trade.
• Advanced knowledge of electricity (high/low voltage).
• Reading architectural drawings.
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (TCP/IP, networking, VoIP).
• Valid US Driver’s license.
• Team management/supervisor experience.
• Experience with fire, CCTV, intrusion, nurse call systems.
• Experience with service ticketing processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute Level I installer responsibilities with high standards.
• Manage project/service tickets with timely updates.
• Lead tasks and delegate within team capabilities.
• Mentor Level 1 installers and solicit feedback.
• Communicate with Project Delivery Coordinators and customers.
• Work with nurse call, card access, and video surveillance systems.
• Perform FAT and system configuration/commissioning.
• Accept additional duties as needed.
